Using a special firmware and applications development expertise at Arya Omnitalk users can now send short messages (upto 16 characters ) to each other as well to the Control room thus opening up an opportunity to offer many useful applications for various industries.

• Now voice messages can be backed with these short text messages for the entire talk group, sub-talk group or for any specific radio user fast & easily.
• This eliminates or reduces the possible message loss due to being away from the walkie talkie besides offering the advantages of a silent communication when ever required.
• A longer message can also be sent as multiple short messages as the Radios have a message storage capacity. . This can be sent to the entire talk group or to any individual in the group from the radio which is connected to a PC down-loaded with the radio messaging software.
• Software offers an acknowledgement of successful message delivery and also ensures re-transmission to radios which have not automatically acknowledged receipt of message.

Security Industry

• In a fiercely competitive Security Services market, the failure often happens at the security guard level - late arrival,absence,sleeping while on duty etc. often leading to contract loss.
• A security Co's control room can send short messages at periodic time intervals (auto or manual to any radio in the fleet ) and the guard at the post on duty would need to respond by sending back specific messages thus indicating vigilance on duty.
• With the messenger customers can be offered daily evidence of guards being vigilant on duty as all the messages sent from the control room and received by it shall be time and date stamped and will be available as records in the system.
• Delay in return messages can mean some problem at the post or that the guard is sleeping on duty
• User defined (segment specific) 16 character messages ( 75) can be pre-programmed in all the radios which can be used for return messaging to the control room.
• Attendance marking can also happen through radio messaging -every time the guard joins or leaves duty for the day a message can be sent,time and date stamping it.
• The application can be customised to compute absenteeism,late coming ,overtime etc
